DIY Idea: A Little Lace Goes A Long Way

Perhaps you've heard of the trend that's emerging for Spring involving lace and romantic rosettes. Im all about both.

For a long time I've had this lace belt with a cool rosette. I dont wear it as often as Id like. On its last outing I wore it as a necklace. But I really wanted to show this accessory off more. While browsing new bags at department stores and feeling the bottom of my wallet, I wished I could buy a new bag. But then I realized, when you are falling out of love with one of your bags, just embellish. I knew the belt would look perfect against my Juicy tote of the same colors. I simply tied the belt around the satin ribbons that wind through the top of the bag. Then I let the ends hang out by the bow. Love it. Zero dollars spent, and now Im Spring ready. Can't wait to show off my "new" bag.
