Not sure if you heard, but the rain was quite extraordinary here. Rainy days get me down because I am just not that used to them. One fashion obstacle I've encountered over the years is dressing for wet weather. Let's just say, thank goodness for leggings and boots! While I try not to wear any of my expensive footwear in the rain, I've come to realize that rainy days are made sunny when you wear clothes that make you happy. My solution to today: haute socks. I decided to wear a cream Juicy dress I havent worn in months (sorry it's wrinkled, I sit at a desk all day) and layered it over my new tights by Hot Sox ($3 at Marshalls). Then I pulled one of my favorite fashion tricks and layered my tights with socks (in this case Juicy Couture cream fishnet, knee-highs). Add some Coach high heels (eBay find) and a Juicy cocktail ring, and you are ready to sing and dance in the rain.
