Los Angeles Fashion Week is a wonderful time for us fashion enthusiasts to get up close and personal to indie designers and celebrate So Cal glamour. I was lucky enough to have been invited to the Project Ethos Fashion Show (http://www.projectethos.com/) for the second year in a row. Last year it was a treat, and this time around, I was equally excited. While I rarely venture out to L.A. the collections and prospect of meeting new people make it worth my while.
The show was hosted by Project Runway Season 2 contestant Nick Verreos. Amazing fashions paraded down the runway from http://www.bivika.net/, http://www.britboyfashions.com/, http://www.annieandjade.com/, http://www.summertitone.com/, and Gordana Gehlhausen's ( Project Runway season 6) collection, http://www.shopgoga.com/.
I of course enjoyed getting gussied up with my pal Serena of Made Woman Magazine (http://www.madewomanmag.com/). I'm wearing a sparkler that I bought recently and hadn't worn out yet. This was the perfect occasion. Dress: Haute Hippe (http://www.hautehippieinfo.blogspot.com/). Earrings: made lovingly by my mum. Cuff: Juicy Couture. Shoes: Miu Miu (you can't see them, but they're there, I swear).
The second best part about being a member of the press at a fashion show (besides the close seats) is the goodie bag. Thank you Project Ethos for inviting me, Serena for being my date, and Carlton Hair for the goodies! It was a fabulous night for this fashion lover.
What fabulous fun
