Bundled Up
I've been challenging myself to wear things that I don't usually, and with the cold coming out in full force this winter, I have been looking to add on layers. I didn't like how these images Picstitched together for an Instagram post, so I saved the individual shots for a blog post. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to capture more outfit posts on the blog, since all my money goes to things I wear.
I threw this outfit together one Friday. It consists of amazing arm warmers that I don't usually wear, but had to because it was freezing on this particular day. I love how the arm warmers can actually be turned around and used as leg warmers too. I bought them in black and gray from Juicy Couture a couple of years ago because they reminded me of the bejeweled Miu Miu socks I was obsessed with. The coat is Juicy too, scored at a thrift store for $3. Top is from the Zara sale and just seemed to match the gray gem theme. These shoes are so affordable and from a great site called UrbanOG, they have pieces that are very on trend and under budget. I've been doing a lot of shopping there lately. In fact, I bought these wedges in cobalt in addition to the gray. I've been purchasing a lot of multiples lately ... thus adding to my ever over-crowded closet.
How do you bundle up and stay fashionable?
Keep cozy!

Your little red jacket is fabulous and exactly what I would snap up. Everything is pulled together beautifully. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat website UrbanOG is awesome! I'd never heard of it before, but I'm looking through it and I will most definitely be shopping there. And those wedges you got are quite spectacular. :)
ReplyDeleteLOve the arm warmers! It's been very cold here and I'm wearing my trusty Ugg boots I actually purchased in Phoenix (of all places). They were a steal at a Nordstrom outlet for $60...I love them. Gotta checkout UrbanOG.
ReplyDeleteFashion has taken us long way since 1990. Just see the difference between clothes of now and then, there's a huge difference in terms of materials used, cost, and design.
